Paxcroft Mead Baby and Toddler Group

Paxcroft Mead Baby and Toddler Group We are a local group, run by volunteers on Tuesday mornings 10-11.30 during term time. We are a happy, friendly group!

We have a wide range of toys and activities for children 0 - 5 and always have a craft activity and nursery rhyme singing. Here are our safeguarding, health and safety and other policies:

We are hoping everyone is enjoying the festive period 🎄

📆 We will be open again on Tuesday 13th January 2025 and look forward to seeing you all again!

🌟 Would you like to kick start a new, positive routine for 2026? We are always in need of volunteers to help keep our group running.

☀️With a few members of the volunteering team leaving over the summer holidays, now is the perfect time to get involved.

🕘 All we ask is for you to arrive at 9am to help set up, this extra hour is great for helping little ones settle in, and getting a morning caffeine fix before the doors open.

🎨 Feeling crafty? If arts and crafts is your thing, then you help with organising the weekly craft and setting this up before doors open.

☕ Can you make the best cuppa? You could also help during snack time, making up squash and water for the kids, and a hot drink for adults. Or washing up all the used cups before the session ends.

🎶 Music in your soul? We love ending our sessions with song time as it helps the kids transition from play time to home time. All you need is to know your nursery rhymes and expect Sleeping Bunnies at least twice!

🪙 As a thank you, you will not need to pay for your entry for sessions you've volunteered for. Even if you can't make every week, your efforts are appreciated.

Thanks to all those who attended today , can I just remind you that next Tuesday is our final session of the year. ❤️ We wanted to send a gentle reminder to our families who weren't able to join us this week that at 'Tidy Up Time' no children should be in or around the cupboard.

🙏 We really appreciate how much you all love to help with packing away. Unfortunately this week, one of our volunteers took a nasty tumble due to not being able to see a little one under their feet.

⛑️ We only ask this for your safety and our own.
