🪛 Got something that needs a bit of TLC?

Rather than replacing it, see if it can be fixed at one of this week’s Repair Cafés:

📍 Tregony | 1pm-3pm Saturday 24 October
📍 Torpoint | 9:30am-1pm Sunday 25 October

Bring along your broken or damaged items and see if the volunteers can help give them a new lease of life. 💚

Cling film can be recycled with your plastic bags and wrapping. Just make sure it's as free from food as possible before putting it out for collection. ♻️

Do you have old cables hiding in drawers, boxes or baskets?

This International E-Waste Day, we’re joining Recycle Your Electricals' Great Cable Challenge to get unwanted cables out of storage and into reuse or recycling.

If you’re not sure what a cable is for, their handy Great Cable Guide can help.

If you can’t reuse them, take them to your local recycling centre.

17,500 fly-tips have been recorded across Cornwall in the past five years. Now we’re stepping up efforts to catch offenders and asking residents to help.

The maximum fine has increased from £1,000 to £5,000, and covert cameras are helping identify those responsible.

If you pay someone to take your rubbish away, check they’re a licensed waste carrier. And if you witness fly-tipping, report it and share any photos or videos that could help catch those responsible.
