π Celebrating 70 Years of Penmount Crematorium β Thank You for a Wonderful Open Day! π
What a fantastic day we had celebrating 70 years of Penmount Crematorium with our community, colleagues, partners and visitors.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us to mark this important milestone, helping to make the event such a memorable occasion. It was wonderful to share the history of Penmount and showcase the services and support available within our local community.
A very special thank you goes to the wonderful charities and organisations that supported the event and helped visitors learn more about the valuable services available across Cornwall:
π Cornwall Blood Bikes β providing a voluntary emergency courier service, transporting blood, medical supplies and other essential items to support healthcare services across Cornwall.
π Children's Hospice Southwest β offering expert care and support for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families.
π Man Down β a Cornwall-based charity supporting menβs mental health and well being through peer support groups and community engagement.
π€ CRUSE Bereavement Support β providing compassionate support, advice and information to children, young people and adults who are grieving.
π St Petroc's β working to end homelessness in Cornwall by providing accommodation, support, advice and services to help people rebuild their lives and find a place to call home.

ποΈ Dor Kemmyn Multi-Faith Group β promoting understanding, inclusivity and support across different faith communities, helping people come together through education, dialogue and shared values.
We would also like to extend special thanks to Camborne Brass Band and our special guest Will Keating, whose wonderful musical performances on the front lawn created a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the day and were enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
The day concluded with a beautiful and reflective Service of Remembrance, led by the Archdeacon of Cornwall, The Venerable Clive Hogger. His thoughtful words provided a fitting end to our celebrations, honouring the countless lives remembered at Penmount over the past 70 years.
Finally, thank you to our staff, volunteers and partners whose hard work behind the scenes ensured the day ran so smoothly.
As we reflect on 70 years of serving our community, we look forward to continuing to provide a place of remembrance, support and care for generations to come.
