This year we made a conscious decision not to 'tidy up' the area along the burn (stream). What a feast for the senses - and the birds, bees, insects and mini beasts. We have discovered wild mint, redcurrants, wild raspberries, meadow vetch, forget-me-not, wild angelica to name but a few. It feels so good to be helping nature in some small way.
