Tuesday 1st September, we pay our respects to the Father,President of Tyldesley Royal British Leigion, Mr Jack Robinson, all are welcome at the Tyldesley Church, 10.15 then to the Crematorium. Please respect this is a family funeral and we are guests, act accordingly, and please show the respect Jack and Silvia deserve , thankyou,Nick Brock, chairman, TRBL.

🚩 Tyldesley Carnival 2025 🚩
What a fantastic day at the Tyldesley Carnival! The members of Tyldesley Royal British Legion Branch were proud to take part in the carnival parade and represent our branch within the local community.
It was wonderful to see so many people lining the streets and enjoying the celebrations. We also had a stand at the carnival, where we had the pleasure of speaking with lots of local residents about the work of the Royal British Legion, our branch activities, and how we support veterans, serving personnel, and their families.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, showed their support, shared memories, or expressed an interest in getting involved. Community events like these are a great opportunity to connect with local people and strengthen the ties that make Tyldesley such a special place.
Thank you to the carnival organisers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Earlier today we joined together with members of Atherton Branch and other veterans to support the family of Signalman Leslie David Walsh, who aged 17, was a victim of the M62 Coach bombing on 4th Feb 1974.

Our Branch Treasurer played the Last Post and Reveille and we held a 2 minutes silence whilst we remembered David and the other victims of the bombing.
