Over the past 12 days, our crews have responded to 29 emergency incidents across North Wales. These have included mountain fires, wildfires, embankment fires, automatic fire alarms, road traffic collisions, special service calls and a commercial building fire.
While we are based locally, many of these incidents have taken us far beyond our own communities. During this busy period we have travelled as far as Holywell, Conwy and Wrexham, working alongside colleagues from across the Service to support areas where resources have been needed most. It highlights the teamwork and flexibility that exists across North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru
On behalf of everyone at Gorsaf Tân Tywyn Fire Station and Gorsaf Tân Aberdyfi Fire Station we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the public for your patience, understanding and continued support during what has been an exceptionally busy period.🙌🏻
A huge thank you also goes to our fire service family – our fellow crews across the Service and our dedicated Control staff. Your professionalism, teamwork and support, often behind the scenes, ensure that every incident is dealt with safely and effectively.🚒
Finally, thank you to the families of our firefighters. The unpredictable nature of the role means time together is often interrupted at a moment's notice. Your understanding, encouragement and unwavering support make it possible for us to answer the call whenever our communities need us. ❤️
We remain proud to serve our communities, wherever we are needed, and as always, we encourage everyone to take extra care during the current dry conditions and to report emergencies by calling 999.
Stay safe, and thank you for your continued support.
