BIG NEWS 📢

The Government has announced up to ÂŁ18 million in additional funding for TRANSFORM - recognising the crucial role our trial is playing in shaping the future of prostate cancer screening.

This investment means all eligible Black men aged 45 to 74 will be invited to take part in the trial, significantly increasing participation among men at higher risk.

It comes after the UK National Screening Committee’s final recommendation to screen only men with BRCA2 gene variations who also have a family history of the disease.

That’s why today’s additional funding marks a historic moment.

It will help us continue to generate the evidence needed for a safe, accurate and effective screening programme for all men.

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE AFTER THE NOWAK MURDER CASE?
I have disagreed with Donna Jones over many things over the years, including about the performance of Hampshire Police. She has wrongly sought to defend them too often, which is not what the role of PCC is about.
I agree with Donna Jones' comments in this article. And yes, it should be urgent, but thorough. It should not let the mistakes be repeated now, or in the future. That is why it is urgent.

LABOUR ADMITS TO MORE OF ITS FAILURES
These safety issues are there because of them. It's an admission of guilt by Labour councillors and a Labour council. They put it in. They were the ward councillors. All of a sudden, after years of incompetence, they are interested in reversing something they let happen in the first place. I had already identified the safety issues and reported them to the Echo who did not report my concerns.

I've spent far too much time and effort exposing elected representatives who didn't pay their council tax, for me to be able to say anything else.
If it was just a month or two, OK. But it wasn't.
