Midweek question for all you Lowes lovers… 🥤❤️

After spending yesterday travelling around North Wales, visiting stores and chatting to customers, one thing I absolutely loved was hearing just how many of you still actively look out for Lowes. 🥰

So today I thought I’d turn the question over to you…

Another stop on my North Wales travels today… Asda Queensferry 🥤❤️

And I honestly couldn’t have asked for better feedback!

While I was tidying and facing up our Lowes display, I got chatting to customers who were actually picking up the drinks as I was there — and hearing them say how much they love the range absolutely made my day. 🥰

The only complaint… they can’t always get hold of them! 🙈

We were already down to the last few 6-packs when I arrived and, while I was standing there, even more disappeared into customers’ trolleys! Our Lemonade 6-packs had completely sold through too.

As a small, fourth-generation Welsh family business, actually standing in store and hearing customers tell me they love our drinks and actively come looking for them means more than they probably realise. ❤️

Of course, I couldn’t leave without giving our shelves a little Lowes makeover… before ➡️ after! 👀😂

A huge thank you to everyone buying, supporting and continuing to look for Lowes. I’m certainly taking all of your comments back with me! 🥤

📍 Asda Wrexham – WE’VE GOT ANOTHER SPOT! 🙌🥤

What a brilliant visit to Asda Wrexham this morning!

I’ve just had a great chat with Barney, the ambient Store Manager, who told me our Lowes drinks “fly out” in store – absolutely amazing feedback for a little Welsh family business like ours ❤️

We gave the main fixture a little tidy and fill up while I was there… swipe for the before & after 👀➡️

AND even better… Barney has kindly agreed for us to add our 330ml bottles into the Food To Go drinks fixture too! 🙌

So you can now find your Lowes favourites:

And at just 42p a bottle, they’re still a cracking little bargain! 👏

It’s been a little quiet on here over the summer holidays… juggling work, family life and everything in between has definitely kept me busy! ☀️🙈

But today it was back on the road — a 4-hour drive up to Wrexham for both mine and Karl’s work commitments 🚗💨

After a long day, we headed into Wrexham and found the lovely Levant Kitchen & Bar for dinner… and what a find! 😍 The food was absolutely delicious (just look at those hanging kebabs! 🤤) and it was so lovely chatting to Hannah too.

As a fellow business owner, it’s always nice to meet and support other independent businesses — especially at a time when things are becoming increasingly challenging for so many. Monday night was understandably quiet, but the food, service and welcome were all fantastic. ❤️

Tomorrow I’ll be back out on the road around Flint and the surrounding areas, visiting customers and hopefully doing a little cold calling while I’m up this way! 🥤🚗

So sad to see this news from JB’s Stores 💔

It was only back in January that we had the pleasure of welcoming JB’s as a new Lowes Soft Drinks stockist, so to see them having to close their doors less than a year later is incredibly sad.

It’s such a difficult time for small independent businesses. So much hard work, investment and hope goes into starting something like this, and local support really can make all the difference.

Sending our very best wishes to Natalie, Kev and everyone at JB’s Stores. We’re so sorry it hasn’t worked out as you’d hoped and wish you all the very best for whatever comes next. ❤️

💔 JBs STORES – CLOSING DOWN 💔

This is probably one of the hardest posts I’ve had to write.

Sadly, JBs Stores will be closing its doors.

We came into this with so many plans and genuinely wanted to create a little village shop that people could rely on. We invested everything we could into it — bringing in products people asked for, adding services, trying new things and doing our absolute best to make it work.

But the reality is simple: a small village shop cannot survive without enough regular support.

We’ve heard so many times what people wanted us to stock. We bought it, filled the shelves and invested money we often couldn’t really afford to invest — only for much of it to sit there because the customers simply didn’t come.

We completely understand that everyone has to watch their money and shop wherever works best for them. There’s no blame here. But unfortunately, the numbers have reached a point where we simply cannot keep going.

To everyone who has supported us — whether you came in every day, once a week, bought your paper, collected your parcels, grabbed a loaf of bread or just popped in for a chat — thank you. ❤️

You kept us going for as long as we have, and we will genuinely never forget that support.

We wanted JBs Stores to become something special for the village, and we’re absolutely gutted that we haven’t been able to make it work.

We’ll post more information shortly regarding our final trading date and closing-down stock/sales.

What a brilliant day at Garth Farm country Farm! ☀️🥤❤️

Such a fantastic atmosphere today and it was SO lovely meeting so many people, chatting about Lowes and seeing so many of you enjoying our drinks! 🥰

Days like today are also a lovely reminder of what being a family business is all about. ❤️ We had three generations there throughout the day, with my Dad popping along, as well as lots of support from Mum, my sister, niece and husband.

And this year it was my son Zachary who stepped in to help me on the Lowes stand! 🥤 Last year I had Gracie helping me, so it was really lovely having Zach by my side this time. His friend even popped up and the two of them got stuck in helping to sell plenty of bottles! 😂👏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came over, bought a drink, had a chat or simply said hello. Supporting events like this and getting out there meeting the people who have grown up with Lowes — as well as those discovering us for the first time — genuinely means so much to our little Welsh family business.

And a big thank you to Garth Farm Country Fair for another fantastic event. We had a brilliant day! ❤️
