Cabinets hide a myriad of secrets and, over the years, the bespoke cabinet doors we’ve made have hidden away everything from toothbrushes to personal safes and televisions. But no matter what’s hidden behind, it’s paramount that the doors themselves are as beautiful as they are functional, and this pair is really something special. ✨

Delicate beading runs around the outside of these chamfered frames, which are finished in antique silver over black, and light antique mirror glass completes the picture, providing a perfectly speckled reflection. The inside of the doors are painted a silky chocolate brown, ensuring they look great whether they’re open or closed.

Buvez-vous? When we saw this tea towel that a client brought in for framing, we knew we wanted to mimic the stained glass border of the illustrated image to create something bold and graphic for the eyes to drink up, and settled on a bespoke version of our Chequered Frame in three complimentary Farrow & Ball colours. Just like wine, it’s important for a piece like this to breathe, so we floated it on an off-white conservation board with matching fillets which adds lovely depth to the finished piece. We absolutely love how striking this turned out and think it will look marvellous in a kitchen, above a bar, or - even better - amongst some prized bottles in a wine cellar. 🍷

A dressing table triptych mirror is a 360° experience and must look as great from the front as it does from the back and sides. This geometric stepped mirror is finished in our imitation bronze with three low iron bevelled mirrors and is wrapped in a soft faux-leather on the back. When it comes to contemporary picture framing, we love a well-deployed stripe and these thick gold bands don’t just look great, they’re also a wonderful way of reflecting light and moving the eye. Framed for London-based art consultancy , we pulled from the dark tones of the painting to create a rich, deep teal colour which we used on the fillets, backboard, and frame. We then used gold metal leaf to make these three eye-catching stripes, which the painting floats in front of.
