Upwood Village Book Exchange Disused red telephone box turned into a free book and DVD exchange by Upwood and the Raveleys Parish Open to anyone, open every day of the year, open all hours.

Disused Red Telephone Box now a Book and DVD, FREE exchange. Situated on the High Street of Upwood Village.Sponsored by Upwood & The Raveleys Parish Council. We welcome any books or DVD's. There is no limit on how long you can have books or DVD's out on 'loan'. Keep them or pass them on, at the moment we seem to have a steady supply of books, thanks to our supporters.

Barry Gowler Memorial Tractor Road Run

The Barry Gowler Memorial Tractor Road Run committee would like to make all residents aware of our event on Sunday 28 June.

It is anticipated that approximately 100 tractors will be passing through the village between 10.30-10.40am (Meadow Road) and between 2.35-2.45pm (High Street) and we would like to ask for your help with the following:

☑️ Please support participants by giving them a wave or cheer
☑️ Please donate cash to marshals and volunteers on the day
☑️ Please park vehicles off the road wherever possible
☑️ Please be patient if you are trying to pass the tractors
