In case you missed them at Abergavenny Steam Fair, these beauties will be joining us at Usk Show this year! We are looking forward to welcoming them into our main ring for everyone to admire! Gentle Giants-Shire Horses

We have also moved the judging of the Heavy Horse classes to the main ring this year for you to enjoy & you can also see Kate and her Rowan Working Horses doing a display in the JPL Countryside Ring too!

And the Shetland Pony Grand National will also be racing in the main ring to show you the opposite end of the spectrum!

Heartbreaking to hear the news that Royal Cornwall Show has had to cancel day 3 of their show today! With all the hard work that goes in to staging these events, from exhibitors, traders, volunteers, show teams, its such a shame that the blinking weather means you cant go ahead.

Feeling for all our Cornish friends today!

Royal Cornwall Show – Saturday Closure

It is with great regret that following a thorough assessment of forecast weather conditions and their impact on the showground, the difficult decision has been taken to cancel the final day of the Royal Cornwall Show on Saturday.

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, competitors, members, staff, volunteers and contractors has been central to this decision and remains our highest priority.

We recognise how disappointing this news will be for everyone involved, particularly those who had planned to attend, exhibit or compete, and we would like to thank all our stakeholders for their patience, understanding and support.

Further information for ticket holders, exhibitors, competitors, members and other stakeholders will be communicated as soon as possible through the Royal Cornwall Show’s official channels.

This week is National Volunteers Week so we just wanted to say thank you to the 500 plus volunteers that help us stage & put on Usk Show! With just 1 paid member of staff, we simply wouldn't have a show without you all!

🐴 EQUINE ENTRIES FOR USK SHOW 2026 ARE NOW OPEN 🐴

Showing and Show Jumping classes for all sections, sizes and ages! Lots of grass roots classes too for novices to have a go.

Don't forget that we are also a Silver Medal Show for Welsh Pony & Cob Society classes too!
