Absolutely ridiculous, make us have permits outside our homes, then ticket us for not having them when you refuse to replace them, two tickets in a matter of days is an absolute joke can’t even park outside my own home because the council wants to claw every last scrap out of the people who are either working hard and paying taxes or people who have lost their jobs due to COVID, people who are genuinely struggling .... Because people are complaining, but yet you don’t come when it’s YOUR staff using our street as a car park and walking into town do you. How ironic.
Our bin should've been emptied last Friday. perfectly understandable why it wasn't due to the weather conditions, but what excuse could you possibly have that it still hasn't been collected? The wrong type of rain perhaps? Or maybe that Wakefield council couldn't care less about Hemsworth and the surrounding area???
Any chance of some grit dropped at the top of Magdalene road so i can clear the road please or a gritter too clear the road as it is very dangerous and a neighbor is due to give birth and will need access off the street
Can you please explain why you had a tractor ploughing snow in the Normanton market car park at 11pm when I've got to be up at 02:30am for work???
Is anyone getting answers to posts on here?
Car park lights at Wakefield Golf Course on during daytime and off at night!! Really helps the drug dealers please sort ASAP
Wakefield Council I assume recycling bins will be emptied today in Thornes as no other info available on your web site?
Proposed Council Tax inflation of 2% - This is disgraceful!! It has risen just short of 15% over previous years. How do you expect struggling families to afford this increase? You should all be ashamed of yourselves 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Council tax needs to be abolished, or frozen for the next 5 years for everyone to recover.
Revenue Budget and Council Tax 2020/21 Waste PFI why PFI have you learnt nothing? Enforcement increase why, they are ineffective at present Economic Growth – marketing the District – not going to happen as you have already damaged the image Capital Financing Costs – you have a track record of wasting money, market hall and other vanity projects, waste of money. Transformation Programme – savings of £2.6m, why as you are already spending money on Capital Financing Costs Other savings and additional income – you have no end date or named what they are, in essence you are just guessing. 11.3 this looks like you are spending money on the same projects by renaming them, Anti-poverty ‘More money in my pocket’ initiatives (£0.7m). and More money in my pocket’ initiative (£1.5m). Place branding and tourism (£0.3m) and Place branding and tourism (£1.1m) why? I note you have made no mention of reducing managers of councillors to save money, or the new site that has been purchased on cine world area, why not
Will the recycling bins in featherstone still be getting emptied tomorrow?
Yet again rubbish builds up again at privately owned flats in north street south Kirkby directly behind wdh homes, it stinks, rats 🐀 about, rubbish flows into our wdh property and nobody seems to come up with a solution this has been going on for years, why doesn’t the council fine this property landlord, it gets cleared and within a couple of days it’s back the same,
My bin has only been half emptied today. Can someone help please.
