Friends Of Wallasey Central Library

Friends Of Wallasey Central Library The Friends Group was set up in 2010 to help promote the library. We organise events, quiz nights and talks. At the moment, we have around 100 members.

We consider ourselves to be guardians of Wallasey Central Library in order to promote and cater for the academic, cultural, historical, creative, leisure and technological interests of the community. Recently, we helped secure funding for CCTV around the outside of the library building. We have also raised funds and bought projection equipment and hope to start a film club later this year. A longe

Our first Summer Event will be on Wednesday 5th August 10:00am - 12:00pm at The Walled Garden Central Park Wirral.

We will have lots of free activities for children aged under 5 years.
