I am a massive fan of BunkFest and I know it only survives due to the generosity of individuals giving up their time.

They could really do with one last push this afternoon/evening to get things over the line. Could you spare just two hours to help?

Marshalls are the eyes and ears of bunkfest feeding info into the control room regarding potential health & safety concerns.

Please see the original post for further details.

****Urgent call for volunteers to cover marshalling shifts today****

BunkFest needs volunteers **6pm-8pm** and **8pm-10pm**

let us know if you can spare a couple of hours by popping down to the volunteers area on the Kinecroft (opposite the festival shop), registering at Volunteer - BunkFest 2024, or you can drop us a line at [email protected]

T-shirt and drinks token for each volunteer, and a warm fuzzy glow on the inside.

Help keep BunkFest amazing!

Absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to officially thank all the organisers, volunteers and sponsors that make BunkFest happen.

So pleased that Wallingford Town Council and by extension the Bullcroft Trust have helped facilitate the evolution of Bunfest as it continues to gain interest.

So, there it is. Congratulations to both Leonard Pannett & Christine Sandall and commiserations to Nigel Everett. Thank you all for standing. I know it can be daunting standing in an election but without all three of you we wouldn't have had a choice.

I know there are observations regarding turn out and the causes and we will be diving in to that but for now I want to leave the focus on the succesful candidates. Welcome to the Wallingford Town Council team, I look forward to working with you both.

DON'T FORGET TO TAKE ID

So, here it is, election day for the bi-election to join Wallingford Town Council. Yes, I know the weather doesn't look great but the poll stations are nice and dry, plus the act of contributing to the electoral process will make you feel a nice, warm glow 😉.

We are aware that some residents did not receive the leaflet we organised to be delivered to every home in Wallingford and if you require additional information there is a dedicated page on Wallingford Town Council website which can be found here: https://www.wallingfordtowncouncil.gov.uk/2024/01/wallingford-town-council-elections-2024/.

There are also copies of the leaflet in the windows of the Town Council office (in Castle Street), the Town Information Centre (under the Town Hall) and K.P. Stationers (in the Market Place). I will also add a copy below

You can find out where your polling station is here:https://www.wallingfordtowncouncil.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/84/2024/01/Wallingford-Polling-Station-by-Street-list.pdf with S1 being Wallingford Scout Hut & S2/S3 being St. Mary's Church.

The polling stations are open between 07:00 & 22:00. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE ID.

There are two town councillor posts available for the upcoming election, which will take place from 7am – 10pm on Thursday 22 February 2024. Residents will have 2 votes.
