I passionately believe that nature is for everyone.

The wonderful subsidise our wonderful Nature Makers classes, so we can offer them on a pay as you can / free if you can't basis.

join us for nature exploration, art, craft, wellbeing, community and connection.
And a cuppa, obviously. We all need nature, but parents also need caffeine and a biscuit! ☕🌿🫶

The final stage of consultation on our Local Plan is now open.

We want to hear your views on the draft Local Plan and would encourage everyone who wants to have their say to take part in the consultation.

Further information on the Local Plan, including dates for the in-person drop-in events (they're in the graphic below too) and details of how to respond, can be found at https://haveyoursay.northtyneside.gov.uk/hub-page/the-local-plan

The drop-in events are an opportunity for anyone to pop along, chat to a member of our team and ask any questions you may have about the Local Plan.

Following the consultation, all responses will be considered before the Local Plan is submitted to the Government for independent examination.

Please note that to make sure your views are considered as part of the consultation, you need to submit a consultation response rather than just leave your comments below. Thank you.

The work to remove the silt from the lake is taking longer than expected. We advise people to avoid the paths which are being used by plant vehicles while the work is being carried out.
The paths will be cleaned down and back to normal as soon as the work has been completed. Thank you for your patience.

Calling all little nature explorers in Wallsend!

🌳✨ Splat, splash, and create with us every Thursday morning at 10:00 AM at the wonderful Wallsend Park Pavilion.

Our weekly sessions are packed with messy art, nature crafts, and joyful sensory exploration of nature.

Best of all? Thanks to generous support from Wallsend Park, these sessions are offered on a pay-as-you-can basis, and completely free if you need it! We believe whole-heartedly that every single child deserves access to nature, creativity, and messy play.

Click the link in our bio or visit the Nature Makers Website to book your place.
