🎉 21 YEARS OF ROCH VALLEY SELF STORAGE 🎉
Here’s a few photos from over the years.
Back in 2005, smartphones didn’t exist yet, most people still had flip phones or indestructible Nokias, and taking a photo actually required a bit of effort. The oldest picture we’ve found is of Tony and one of our earliest customers, Bill, in the old upstairs office.
Tony’s been here since day one. He’s attempted retirement a couple of times, but somehow still ends up here, usually sat with me on a Friday afternoon with a brew and a packet of biscuits, or steering the ship on Saturdays.
Looking back through the photos, some things haven’t changed much… although the site certainly has. One thing that definitely hasn’t changed is our soft spot for 🐕.
People still tell us self storage must be a pretty dull and boring business. Truth is, it’s anything but.
Most of our customers come to us during major life moments — moving house, divorce, bereavement, new arrivals, business launches, renovations, emigrating, ill health and everything in between. Over 21 years we’ve met some incredible people and heard some unbelievable stories.
The things we could write a book about… if confidentiality rules didn’t exist 🤐
