Postlebury Lib Dems Jonathan Roberts is the Liberal Democrats candidate for Postlebury ward for Mendip District Council He is Lord of the Manor of Milton Clevedon.

Jonathan was born in Somerset, and returned to the county in 1997 with his enjoyment of caving in Mendip. He is married to Jacqueline, and has lived in Wanstrow for 17 years, within the Postlebury ward. Jonathan now runs his own company which advises on transport and economic regeneration projects. He was previously a national officer of Transport 2000 in the mid-1980s, and then a strategy and pol

itical communications director for over 20 years, advising many English local authorities. Jonathan wants the district council to strive harder on broadband, accessibility, the local economy and housing capacity, to achieve more sustainable, better-connected communities.

Great day for campaigning once the rain stopped! Went out around Postlebury with David Rendel our parliamentary candidate again today, campaigned with him yesterday morning as well.
Good doorstep discussions all over the ward.

Unanimous support for David Rendel at the adoption meeting at Castle Cary tonight. Powerful speech by David Heath MP about Lib Dem policies that have changed government priorities. David Rendel said Lib Dems are uniquely placed to influence the next governments priorities as well.
