Why is it during the summer holidays nothing, then the second the schools go back and the kids in the village need the bus to Ware for school they shut all the roads? The level of incompetence in this country is breathtaking, two road closures incoming, and typically the first one is as Widford / Hunsdon schools go back, so it's the long way round for everyone that goes in that direction.

Anyone know a charity that will collect toys and clothing from our village?
We always used to have charity sacks put though our letterbox but since covid this has stopped. 😒
I've tried Google but not giving me much info.
I tried Ecco Harlow and they won't come out for just toys and clothes.
