⛪️ Warkworth Hermitage Visits 🚣‍♂️

The Hermitage is open Sundays and Mondays from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

To visit, please make your way to Warkworth Castle first to secure your place on a boat crossing.

🎟️ Tickets can only be booked on the day and are limited to 6 visitors every half an hour, so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

🐕 Please note that dogs are not permitted at the Hermitage.

Join the team at one of Northumberland’s most iconic historic sites! We’re currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join us at Warkworth Castle with English Heritage.

🕒 Position: Visitor Assistant
⏰ Hours: 7 hours per week (ideal for those seeking part-time work or a flexible role)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique heritage setting, engaging with visitors and helping bring history to life. Whether you’re passionate about history or simply enjoy working with people, we’d love to hear from you.

✨ What you’ll do:
Welcome and assist visitors
Share knowledge about the site
Support day-to-day operations
