Our new False Alarm Policy is live from today (Thursday 1 February). We are now only responding to automatic fire alarm call-outs at occupied commercial businesses and workplace premises if a fire has been confirmed.

We are all feeling very traumatised as we helplessly watch the ongoing conflict in The Ukraine. Sarah McAvoy has been discussing with Paul Devenny of Enviro Fire Water & Air Limited Enviro Fire Water & Air Limited, this morning, the details of his relief trip to the Polish-Ukraine border. Paul departs this Thursday afternoon to deliver 2 lorries of vital humanitarian supplies for people in desperate need. Whistledown Hotel
will be a drop off point for donated items. Please carefully follow the guidelines below for items that are vitally required.

Badly in need of paracetamol /nurofen for kids and adults! Weather is bad, frosty and many have fever on both sides of borders ❤️

Items we are collecting are:
• Good Quality Walkie Talkies, Wind-up radios/Torches, Batteries
• Sleeping bags, Backpacks
• Blankets,
• Thermos flasks, Disposable Cutlery & Plates.
• Towels,
• Bedding (must be new)
• Heavy Winter Coats and Jumpers only. It is the middle of winter!!!
(strictly no light clothing accepted.
• Nappies and sanitary products, wipes
• Personal hygiene (Shampoo, bath gel, soap, deodorants, toothpaste & toothbrushes)
• Dressings (bandages, sterilized gauze, disinfectants, plasters, painkillers, cough bottles, anti-inflammatory medicines, burns creams)
• Tea & Coffee
• Cans (soups, beans, stews)
• Shelf food (Porridge, rice, pasta)
• Soup packets
• Baby food
• Disposable cutlery/plates
• Food for pets
• Small Soft Toys for children • Colouring books
• Sweets/Chocolate
• Plastic Boxes for packaging, hold alls, small suitcases with wheels
