Are you part of a community group looking to learn important safety skills? Sign up to our Safer Together programme and discover practical ways to help keep yourself and your community safe.
Would you know what to do in a fire, recognise the signs of an online scam, or identify potential hazards around your home? SaferTogether is a free, interactive programme delivered by our team at Safety Central that helps adults improve their awareness of everyday risks and learn practical ways to stay safe.
Designed for adults and community groups, this engaging session provides practical advice and guidance to help you stay safe both at home and when out and about. Participants will explore a range of important topics, including:
🔥 Fire Safety - preventing fires and understanding what to do in an emergency.
🏠 Home Safety - reducing hazards in the home and learning about technology that supports independent living.
💻 Online Safety - protecting yourself from scams, cybercrime and other online risks.
🚶 Street Safety - recognising potential dangers in everyday environments, including road, rail and electrical safety.
The session takes place in Safety Central's immersive indoor village, where participants work through engaging, real-life scenarios designed to build confidence and safety awareness. Refreshments are provided during the visit, which lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
SaferTogether is ideal for residents who would like to refresh their safety knowledge, connect with others in the community, and gain useful skills that could help keep themselves, their families and their neighbours safe.
