Waitrose is recalling Waitrose Essential Unsweetened Oat Drink due to the risk of microbiological contamination and spoilage because there has been a breakdown in temperature control which may make these products unsafe to drink.

Waitrose Essential Unsweetened Oat Drink-
Pack size: 1 litre
Best before: All dates between 14 August and 29 October 2026 purchased between 2 September and 21 September 2026

Advice to consumers-
If you have bought any of the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

“Hi Mum… Hi Dad…” 📱

Criminals impersonate family members to trick you into parting with your money or information. They try to gain your trust and create a sense of panic. They might say that they’ve lost they’re phone and need help to pay a bill urgently.

and always speak to the person directly and take your time to verify the request before transferring any money.

STOP: Take a moment to stop and think before parting with your personal or financial information.

CHALLENGE: Hang up and try and speak to the person first, or ask them a personal question to see if it’s them.

PROTECT: If you think you might have been scammed, contact your bank immediately and report it to the police at Report Fraud.

Vishing alert calling...📞

Fraudsters are calling up, pretending to be your bank or a trusted organisation.

They’ll sound convincing and they might even spoof the caller ID. Remember to Stop, Challenge and Protect. ⚠️✋
- Never share details over the phone
- Call your bank or trusted organisation using a number you know to be true
- And remember, it’s OK to hang up and reject any requests for your information

This is where criminals try to obtain your personal or financial information by calling you or leaving a voicemail to try and catch you off guard. They might even manipulate the caller ID to look like they’re from your bank or another trusted organisation.

When answering calls like this:
- Don’t give out any personal or financial information
- Call your bank on a number you know to be correct
- Remember, you can say no and hang up ⚠️
