A film of the 'Heroes of the Wire' - Memorial Bike Ride at Cineworld, Thursday 20th August, 6.50pm....

Next Thursday, we’re bringing the story of the Heroes of the Wire Memorial Bike Ride to the big screen at Cineworld Warrington β€” and we’d love to see as many Wire fans there as possible.

As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, our riders travelled more than 230 miles across France and Belgium, visiting the battlefields, memorials and cemeteries where Warrington players who made the ultimate sacrifice are remembered.

We captured the journey on film, bringing together the stories of our fallen players, the history of our club and the experiences of the people who made the journey.

Now, you can experience it for yourself.

⏰ 6:50pm

This is more than a documentary about a bike ride. It’s a chance for the Warrington Wolves community to come together during our 150th year, learn more about the people who helped shape our club and ensure their stories continue to be remembered.

Bring your family, bring your fellow Wire fans and join us for what promises to be a very special evening.

A reminder that evening roadworks at the Pink Eye roundabout mean that the only route to the town centre between 7pm and 1am is via Cromwell Avenue and Winwick Road. This is for up to 8 weeks.
