From improving air quality to new low-carbon infrastructure, we remain committed to creating a cleaner, greener and future-ready Warrington.

Key achievements from the past 12 months include:
✅ Attaining Silver Carbon Literate Organisation status, with 20% of staff trained
✅ Air quality improvements – emissions reduced by 44% since 2005
✅ Full transition to electric buses, replacing the entire diesel fleet with 105 zero-emission vehicles
✅ Preparations underway for food waste collections starting March 2026
