If you visit any pubs or clubs within Warrington you will hopefully have seen the 'Ask for Angela' campaign posters.

The campaign is a national scheme supported by the National Pubwatch to provide support for vulnerable people in licenced premises who find themselves in difficult situations.

If you feel in danger or are in an uncomfortable situation in the licenced premises you are in, you can go to the bar and 'ask for Angela', and a staff member will be able to help you.

A family of travellers have based themselves within our overflow car park at our Orford Hub from this afternoon. As it stands, there are 2 x caravans onsite and another 3 are on the way.

Livewire have reported this to the Police via 101, internally within WBC and informed the Police Traveller Liaison team. Livewire have since been informed by the Police that they will visit throughout the weekend to assist if needed and the Traveller Liaison Officer will be there from Monday.

It's concerning how every year more and more primary school children have smart phones and even more concerning how many of them don't have parental controls on their devices.
