Good luck to everyone receiving their college results today!

Whatever is written on that piece of paper, your results do not define you or determine your future. They are one step in a much bigger journey.

Be proud of the work you’ve put in, celebrate what you’ve achieved, and remember there is always more than one route to where you want to go.

Another busy parade night at 70 Squadron!

One flight enjoyed a fantastic behind-the-scenes tour of Warrington Fire Station, while another took part in the inaugural flight of our new indoor drone programme after successfully passing their UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Flyer ID exam.

A great evening of learning and new experiences. Thank you to Warrington Fire Station for hosting us.

Great to see four of our cadets taking full advantage of the summer break by spending time on the range to progress through the RAF Air Cadets L98A2 marksmanship syllabus.

Range days provide fantastic opportunities for young people to build self-discipline, concentration, and practical skills under safe, qualified supervision.

A busy parade night with something for everyone as our cadets got stuck into a wide range of activities.

From testing their aim on the archery range and air r***e range, to developing teamwork through leadership exercises, taking to the skies in the flight simulator, and competing in our eSports session, it was another evening packed with challenge, learning and plenty of fun.

Cadets from 70 Squadron enjoyed a fantastic scuba diving and snorkelling taster session, learning new skills and experiencing what it's like to explore underwater under the guidance of qualified instructors.

A brilliant evening and, for many, the start of a new adventure.

Six of our cadets had a fantastic opportunity to take to the skies with 10 Air Experience Flight, enjoying a hands-on introduction to military flying.

Each cadet experienced the thrill of flying in the Grob Tutor, with the chance to take the controls under the supervision of an RAF pilot while gaining a unique perspective from the air.

Air Experience Flying is one of the many exciting opportunities available through the RAF Air Cadets, helping to inspire confidence, develop new skills and create lasting memories.

17/07/2026

Whilst their classmates are spending Friday in the classroom, six of our cadets are spending it at 2,000 feet with 10 Air Experience Flight.

Not a bad way to start the day.
