We were delighted to host the End-of-Life Care Champions Network for their annual Dying Matters Awareness Week event in May👏📍

They had a fabulous turnout of staff, who experienced innovative immersive learning from paramedic staff and discovered more about the end-of-life care across a range of settings❤️‍🩹💭

A huge thank you to the facilitators from our partner organisations who supported over 50 attendees from acute, community and social care services🥰

On 6th June, our Medical Education team welcomed 40 young people to our annual Medical Workshop🚀 The workshop proved hugely popular, with strong interest from aspiring future doctors👏

The workshop forms part of our ongoing commitment to widening participation and inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals from all backgrounds🤝

Students gained valuable insight into a medical career through practical skills sessions, simulations, ethics debates and discussions on AI in healthcare💭

A big thank you to our clinicians and medical students from the University of Buckingham Medical School who generously shared their expertise & experiences🙏

A well-deserved surprise for one of our own team members, Leanne!🥰 As a practice advocate, Leanne supports our Clinical Support Workers Apprentices🙏

Chief Operating Officer Harkamal Heran presented Leanne with the GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award in recognition of her outstanding support guiding a learner through the care certificate🏆

✨ We were delighted to invite local Guides and Rangers who piloted the 'Explore Healthcare Careers' Challenge Badges our team developed in partnership with the Integrated Care Board🤩

They took part in a fun, interactive immersive room experience at Acorn House followed by a hands-on simulation session led by our subject matter experts👏

It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, curiosity and engagement as they explored what our NHS Midwives and Radiographers do everyday💭

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the incredible support creating the challenge packs and hosting such an engaging and inspiring session💙

Delegates returned to present their Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign projects, showcasing how they are applying the LEO principles and empowerment framework within their teams and services👩‍⚕
