💡 From ideas to impact! Our latest Preceptorship Development Day 4 brought together nurses, nursing associates and AHPs to explore how small changes can make a big difference📈

The day focused on quality improvement, digital transformation, health inequalities and being sustainable in the NHS, before preceptees showcased their own QSIR project ideas in the afternoon👏

It's inspiring to see the passion and innovation shaping the future of patient care🌱

🚀 Inspiring the Future NHS workforce!

Clare from our Talent for Care team recently visited Southam College to deliver an interactive careers session for Year 9 and 10 students. Through hands-on activities and career tasters, students explored the diverse roles and pathways available within the NHS🎯

Engaging careers workshops are an important opportunity for us to raise awareness of the huge variety of healthcare careers and help young people discover where their future could take them💙

💥 Last week, Preceptees on the 'Accelerated' programme came together to explore professional development, complete preceptor training, and engage in a simulation session in our Immersive space👩‍⚕

The tailored 6 month programme supports colleagues who have already completed a full preceptorship through an apprenticeship pathway or joined us from another Trust🚀

It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, engagement and support for one another as they continue their career journey. 💙

LEO graduates reunite for their follow-up day🎓✨

Nurses, midwives and AHPs who graduated the LEO programme in May came together this week, sharing their innovative Quality, Service Improvement & Redesign projects (QSIR) and reflecting on their leadership in practice💭

It was a great opportunity to reconnect, share learning and celebrate how delegates are putting the LEO programme into practice across our services👏

📅 LEO 2027 dates will be released soon, with bookings opening for staff across SWFT and GEH. Keep an eye out for further details!🚀

On wednesday, preceptees were welcomed to Development Day 4 at Acorn House👏

From innovation and greener healthcare to digital transformation and quality improvement, the programme is supporting newly registered nurses, nursing associates, AHPs and midwives develop the knowledge and skills to lead positive change across our services🚀

The Programme wraps up with an inspiring day 5, focusing on preceptees innovative service improvement projects and celebrating career progression, with guest speakers sharing their experience🎯

The team were incredibly impressed by the quality of the QSIR projects presented, demonstrating the passion and commitment our preceptees bring to improving services and patient care every day❤️‍🩹

Looking for a role where you can inspire and develop the healthcare workforce of tomorrow?💭

✨ Develop and implement training encompassing human factors, low and hi-fidelity simulation and practical procedures virtually, in the lab or in-situ.

Successful candidate will be an experienced, registered practitioner who has supervised and assessed learners/junior staff in practice, ideally with a teaching qualification/post graduate cert or willingness to work towards this🎯
