🐻Warwickshire County Council is providing help through the Crisis Resilience Fund for households on low incomes who may be at risk of running out of fuel and cannot afford to top up. This support is for residents who rely on oil or LPG to heat their home and who are experiencing recent financial difficulty.

Support is being delivered in partnership with Act on Energy, who will assess applications and arrange help for residents in immediate need.

🚒🚒CONGRATULATIONS TO Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service🚒🚒

⏰Average response times are now down to 8 minutes and 10 seconds. ⏰

Cllr Andy Crump, Chair of Resources and Fire & Rescue Scrutiny Committee, and the rest of the Conservative Group, would like to commend Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service (WFRS) for making significant progress across almost every area of its performance, following a recent Inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS).

Cllr Andy Crump was the Portfolio Holder for Resources and Fire & Rescue who worked with CFO Ben Brook on the adoption of the ‘Resourcing to Risk’ model for WFRS in 2023 and 2024. This work is now bearing fruit, and the 2026 HMICFRS Inspection Report is a strong endorsement of that work.

Our thanks go to all the team in WFRS who have contributed to this positive outcome. We hope the current administration at WCC provides the right resources so that this progress continues.

In 2025 we conducted an inspection of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service. We inspected how well the FRS performed in several areas. Each of the areas was then graded as outstanding, good, adequate, requires improvement or inadequate.
