A heartwarming afternoon at Collegiate Church of St Mary, Warwick, as the High Sheriff of Warwickshire, Susan Rasmussen handed out 100 Changemaker Awards to individuals, in the presence of their family, friends, civics and His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Tim Cox.

Those that go the extra mile, make a positive difference to the lives of many, offer an unlimited number of volunteer hours...basically some of the great and amazing people that live, work and study in Warwickshire...congratulations to them all.

It was a privilege to witness each person receive their award, lots of familiar faces including two I love working closely with, Tess from Warwickshire Search and Rescue and Simon from The Bicycle Bus...a couple of the worthy winners.

Then a Garden Party celebration at Warwick Castle, with afternoon tea and live music and an opportunity to chat to the Changemakers and listen to their stories and journey.

Thank you to Gurdwara BVS for taking all the photos, videos and drone footage, looking forward to seeing the professional images and footage.
