🌺 Warwick Horticultural Show 🌺

I had the absolute honour of presenting all the prizes at this year’s Warwick Horticultural Show, and what a fantastic show it was! 🏆🌿

There was an amazing display of wonderful vegetables, fruit, flowers and, of course, some fantastic cakes! 🍰🥕🍎🌸

It’s been a particularly tough summer for growing, with the hot weather presenting plenty of challenges, but the exhibitors still came forward with an incredible display of produce and talent.

A huge thank you to the Warwick Horticultural Society for inviting me and allowing me to be part of such a wonderful community event.

And finally, a massive thank you to all the volunteers who work so hard behind the scenes to make the show happen. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you. 👏

🍻 What a fantastic day for Warwick! 🍻

I was immensely proud to officially open the first Warwick Pub Fest, celebrating and supporting our fantastic local pubs while also raising valuable funds and awareness for the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, which is my main chosen charity during my mayoral year.

I’m particularly pleased that every ticket purchased includes a donation to the Trust, helping support the important work they do around prostate cancer awareness and early detection.

A huge thank you to Tim Mccabee and all the stakeholders, organisers, pubs, volunteers and everyone involved in putting this brilliant event together.

It was fantastic to see so many people coming together, enjoying themselves and supporting our local pubs and a very worthwhile charity. 🍻💙

Fantastic food, a brilliant cake and, most importantly, great company. It was a real pleasure to be there and help you celebrate such a fantastic milestone.

A massive thank you to Simon, Deputy Mayor of Whitnash, Terry Morris, former Mayor of Warwick, Cllr Jim Sinnott & Cllr Dave Skinner for coming along to the Nelson Club and supporting myself and Aaron Corsi, who took his first PSA test.

It was fantastic to see the support for prostate cancer awareness and for my chosen charity, the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, which is my main charity during my mayoral year.

A special thank you to all the amazing volunteers and nurses who gave up their time to make the evening possible and helped make the testing process straightforward.

Getting tested really can be so simple, and early detection can save lives 💙

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the evening and helped us raise awareness.

A real pleasure to be invited to the Warwick Lions Annual Meeting

It was fantastic to meet the amazing members of the Lions Club and hear about all the wonderful work they do supporting our community here in Warwick.

There is so much going on behind the scenes, with countless hours given by volunteers to help local people and organisations. It’s always inspiring to hear about the difference they are making across our town.

The Warwick Classic Car Show was absolutely fantastic, bringing an incredible display of classic cars, huge crowds and a brilliant buzz right across the town centre yesterday 🚗

A massive thank you to the amazing Janet and Hillary, along with fellow Court Leeters and all the wonderful volunteers, for organising such a brilliant event 👏

Warwick was absolutely buzzing with footfall, and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying a lovely Sunday, admiring some truly amazing cars and supporting our town centre businesses.

A fantastic example of how great events can bring people into Warwick and create such a wonderful community atmosphere.

I attended the traditional Warwick Court Leet Assizes Day on Saturday as Lord of the Leet ⚖️

A wonderful piece of Warwick’s living history, with traditions dating back to 1554.

Since then, Warwick Court Leet’s Assizes Day has helped ensure that your cheese is ripe and ready, your ale is at the correct volume and temperature, your bread is worth its weight, your meat is wholesome and your fish is fresh! 🧀🍺🥖🥩🐟

It was fantastic to see these historic traditions continuing and being celebrated in our town. Warwick has such a rich heritage, and days like this are a wonderful reminder of the importance of keeping our traditions alive for future generations.

Had a lovely morning at Myton Hospice and the pleasure of meeting one of their care professionals, Hannah.

It was truly humbling to see first-hand the incredible work that goes on at the hospice. The care, compassion and support provided by the staff is remarkable, and the contribution of the amazing volunteers is simply invaluable.

As Mayor of Warwick, I’m proud to support Myton Hospice and the vital work they do for local families. ❤️

Warwick Town Triples Bowls Finals

A lovely afternoon watching the finals of the Warwick Town Triples Bowls Competition. It was a real pleasure to see some fantastic bowls and great sporting spirit from all the competitors.

As Mayor of Warwick, I was delighted to have the opportunity to present the prizes to all the competitors and congratulate everyone who took part.
