Meon Valley CFRs

Meon Valley CFRs We're all volunteers for South Central Ambulance. Once an ambulance crew arrives at the scene, CFRs work alongside a clinically qualified practitioner.

We are volunteers who are trained to attend emergency calls received by South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and provide Emergency care until the ambulance arrives Community First Responders( CFRs) use life-saving skills, such as the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED), to provide early and often vital intervention for patients suffering life-threatening emergencies in the immediate vicinity of where they live or work.

🌟 Good luck to our amazing team members Thomas, Roy, Siobhan, and Ian as they take on the SCAS North West Node walk for South Central Ambulance Charity!

They start walking at 0800 hours on the 3rd June and finish at Northern House on Thursday 4th at 0800 hours.πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Every step you take helps us provide essential equipment, training, and support to our Community First Responders and staff.

Let’s cheer them on as they walk for a cause that makes a real difference in our communities by making a donation! πŸ’™

Learning CPR & how to use a defib is great at any age, Meon Valley CFRs support any local group to learn the skills to potentially save a life. Last night was the West Meon Parish Council's turn... well done everyone.

Logged on today and catching up on training. Becoming a responder is not just on the road hours, but annual training too. Such rewards in volunteering...
