In a staff meeting tonight, we started to look at what it means to be curious. This is such an important piece of work for us as we develop our curriculum year on year, as a new school.

We are delighted to receive confirmation that we have reached the Parentkind mark. This mark recognises how we, as a school, try to be inclusive and welcoming to parents and recognise the vital role that parents play in developing successful and happy students. We have achieved the 'Standard' accreditation and will now look to achieve Silver and become an even more parent-friendly school

Nearly 100 incredibly WVA students are taking part in The Malcolm Whales Foundation '10 Hours of Sport' fundraiser. They've been playing sports since 8am and won't finish until 6pm! A great example of how sports can inspire and raise money for a very worthy charity. Well done all!

Diana and Hugo are in the top 17 out of 1000 entrants across the East Midlands for spelling and translating in French. That is pretty incredible and definitely shows that they are We were so proud to host the regional final for the East Midlands of the Routes Into Languages MFL Spelling Bee. So many talented students doing incredible things, but we want to give a special shout out to Hugo, Diana and the wonderful Mrs Campion who supported them throughout the process
