Bright futures start with small sparks. ✨

We’re excited to launch the new and refreshed Meridian Career Pathways website, created to help families explore the world of work and support their children as they start thinking about their future.

From discovering different careers to finding inspiration and starting conversations at home, the website has everything you need to get inspired, spark conversations and support your child with planning their future career.

We’d encourage all parents and carers to explore the new website and discover the ways you can help your child take those first steps towards a bright future.

As we prepare for formal examinations at WVA, we need to build a team of invigilators, to ensure exams are sat correctly and in an ordered way. This is a great job for someone looking to give something back to the community and support young people. It is very much seasonal and not a full time commitment.
Full training is given and we hope to build a warm, supportive and committed team:

Closing date: 8:00am, Fri 30th Oct, 2026. View full details and apply online at MyNewTerm.

A reminder that we are celebrating 'Hello Yellow' day tomorrow: the charity Young Minds' day to raise awareness and understanding of mental health.
Our students are invited to wear ONE item of yellow clothing as part of or in place of one item of uniform eg. A yellow jumper in place of their normal jumper, or a yellow t-shirt in place of their usual shirt and tie.
Let's all wear something yellow tomorrow and remind everyone who's struggling that it's ok to not be ok 💛

It was great to welcome the NMPAT woodwind recital team to Weldon this week. They gave a mini concert and invited our more curious students to play the instruments. A brilliant experience so a massive thank you to Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust - NMPAT for inspiring our young people

If any of our students are interested in learning more about woodwind or peripatetic lessons, please contact us as [email protected]
