Our residents have been making the most of the lovely weather by spending time in the garden, enjoying games, laughter, and each other’s company. From friendly competition to peaceful moments outdoors, it’s been wonderful to see so many smiles today 💚

Some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful day out at Stanwick Lakes, taking in the nature, stretching their legs with a gentle walk, and finishing the afternoon with tea and delicious cake 🍰☕

Cheers to Happy Hour at The Evergreen Arms 🍻🍷

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon together relaxing with a glass of beer, wine or gin, along with some classic bar snacks and pickled eggs! There were plenty of smiles, laughter and good company all round ❤️

Today our residents enjoyed a lovely tea tasting session, we tried a number of different flavours and shared plenty of smiles, stories, and conversation along the way.

A wonderful afternoon spent together celebrating friendship and of course, a good cup of tea 💚

I can also confirm we had a tie for the favourite between Green tea and Peach and Orange ☕️🫖

Celebrating VE Day in the garden today with plenty of smiles, laughter, music, and sunshine ☀️🇬🇧

Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together with tasty treats, great company, and lots of memories shared. It was lovely to see everyone joining in the fun and marking such a special occasion.

A big thank you to our amazing team for making the day so memorable 💚

In this role, you’ll support residents with their personal care, daily activities, provide companionship, and help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment. No two days are the same, and every moment is a chance to brighten someone’s day.

• A willingness to learn (experience in care is a bonus, but not essential)

This week has been full of smiles, memories, and a little friendly competition here at the home! 🚢✨
Our residents marked National Titanic Day by sharing fascinating facts about the historic voyage, watching the classic film together, and getting creative with some themed colouring. It was a wonderful opportunity to reminisce, learn, and spark meaningful conversations.
Later in the week, the fun continued with a lively games morning! From a classic beetle drive to Scrabble challenges and some competitive rounds of Connect 4, there was plenty of laughter and team spirit all around. 🎲🧩

What a difference a year makes at Evergreen.
Just one year ago, our dining room was a much quieter place, with 5 residents beginning the journey with us. Today, it’s wonderful to look back and see how far we’ve come, now bustling with 19 residents, conversation, laughter, and the warmth of a thriving community.
From those peaceful early days to the vibrant atmosphere we enjoy now, every shared meal and special moment has helped shape the home Evergreen is today.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far — here’s to many more memories together ✨

🎉🔔 What a fantastic morning cheering on the Stanwick 10K runners! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our residents and team had the best time lining the route with bells, cheers, and lots of smiles as the amazing runners passed by. The energy was incredible, and it was so lovely to be part of such a wonderful community event. 💙
A huge well done to everyone taking part — your determination and spirit truly inspired us all! 👏✨

Our residents have been celebrating Easter with a weekend full of smiles, laughter, and creativity 💛

We enjoyed:
🎀 Easter bonnet making
🥚 A fun Easter egg hunt
🐰 A very special visit from the Easter Bunny!

It is lovely to see everyone getting involved, sharing happy memories, and enjoying the festive spirit together. A truly egg-cellent day was had by all! 🐣✨
