Hafren Valley Methodist Church-Pentre Llifior A Grade II* listed building with CADW, we are an historical Weslyan Methodist Chapel. Free entry. We are a LIVING Heritage site. (April to September).

The chapel has weekly worship commencing at 2.30pm and is also open for visitors to learn about our history on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. We can open outside of these times by prior arrangements for individuals and groups. Our Monthly Bacon Buddies get together on 2nd Saturday of each month is open to all . 10.30am - 12 noon. (This is a social event not a religious gathering). We can also

do veggie sausage bap so stop for 5 mins or the whole session whatever fits with your day. If you have the "What Three Words" app we can be located at:
communal, twitches, sparkles

Services and events for September follow. Sunday worship 🎶🙏at 2.30pm unless otherwise stated. Cuppa and refreshments follow 🫖🍪☕️🍰 at about 3.30pm. Open invitation to either or both to everyone.

September dates.

Open Wed and Thurs afternoons 2pm to 4.30pm for visitors. View the chapel or just pop in for a cuppa. Wednesdays also, same times, Craft and Chatter.

Thurs 3rd - Private visit at 6pm. Aberhafesp WI

Sun 6th - Rev. Keith Edwards. Covenant Service (inc Communion)

Sat 12th - Bacon Buddies 🥓 ☕️
10.30am to 12 noon. Open to everyone. Basically a coffee morning but without cake! Veggie sausage bap or toast for non-meat eaters. Stay as long or little as you like. NO CHARGE. Session operates by donation only.

Sun 13th - Cell Group. An informal style of worship and discussion group for all.

The only one of us at Berriew Show has just one person in it! Many more helped. Thank you to Anthea, Alan, Clair and Mandy plus Rev. Keith for manning the stand AND George, Clair, John and Mandy for helping with the set up on Friday.

A wet Show- 🌧☔️but still smiling and thankful to all the people who took the time to take a leaflet and keepsake token. 😊😊

Woops! Been so busy I've forgotten to post August events and worship!!
Worship at 2.30pm weekly. 🎶🙏 Refreshments at about 3.30pm. 🫖☕️🧁🍪
You are warmly invited to join us for either or both. If it's just the cake - that's fine by us.

Cell group is a more informal style of worship. If attending communion, we offer an open table but, there is no obligation to partake- it's whatever YOU are comfortable with.

29th - come and see us at Berriew Show. Do pay us a visit to say hello, it helps us forget our aching feet. 👣👣 Simple craft for kids and Caring Catch Net for your concerns (we'll pray for all situations big or small).

Remember we are also open on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 2pm to 4pm for you to visit our Grade II* chapel and learn about our history

Wednesdays are also Craft and Chatter hosted by Alan & Anthea.

Pop along to see our stand at Berriew Show on August bank holiday Saturday and say hello. There's lots to see and do at the show.
We will have our "Caring Net" with us so if you have a concern about someone, something or a situation complete a fish shaped card or ordinary prayer card and post it on our net. We will pray your prayer request. No need for names or details if you are not comfortable with that, just write the basic concern. If you are able to include names then please do so and we will be more specific in our praying.
Do come along to say Hi though whatever, because we just love to chat about all sorts 😊 🙃👍
