Eenie Wood Eenie Wood is a young woodland in West Lothian with Oak, Alder, Hazel, Ash, Beech, Birch, Cherry, Hawthorn, Holly and Rowan trees.

Foxes, Roe Deer, Frogs, Dragonflies, Damselflies, Butterflies, Buzzards, Owls, Woodpeckers, Hedgehogs, Brown Hares, Common Lizards and Squirrels can be seen at Eenie Wood.

It was so good being able to spend time in the Woodland despite the cold, wet and muddy conditions .
I love how nature adapts and recovers .
The large Bird Cherry , uprooted in a storm is still growing, but in a different plane. The roots and ground cover branches providing a rich habitat for insects and small animals
