Last night, the volunteer crew of West Mersea Lifeboat Station - RNLI were tasked to Brightlingsea, following a member of the public concerned about a person in the water.
Upon arrival, they found quite a different sight.

We're very grateful for the member of the public who called in with the concern, and advise anyone worried about a person/people in danger in the water to dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
At 9.17pm on Wednesday 8 July, the volunteer crew at West Mersea lifeboat were tasked to Brightlingsea to answer a call from a member of the public who believed they had seen a paramotorist go down in the water.
