We are very excited about the opening event for our lovely new playground at Forest Side, Kennington. Friends of Kennington Library patron Korky Paul will be opening the event and there are free ice creams for the first 100 children! We will also be there if you want to talk about the library.

A massive well done & thank you to Kennington Parish Council for such a wonderful new playground, and for organising what should be a really fun event.

There is more than books, a computer, events etc at the library
We also have colouring! All ages are welcome to colour- this is work of Adam age 17 - "ooh colouring!" he cried. Come visit the library soon!

It is the 15th anniversary of saving our library - please come help us celebrate and if you are one of Kennington Library’s young readers, why not enter one of our Anniversary competitions?

Pick up an entry form from the library or print out the images below. Closing date is Friday 20 February. Winners will be announced at the Anniversary Tea Party on Monday 23 February.

Either write a poem on the reasons why ‘I Love My Library’ or design the cover for ‘Storytime at the Library’. Forms are in the pics below or pick up a form at the library.
