Did you know that Westgate-on-Sea Town Council has a Small Grants Scheme to support local community groups and organisations?

If your group is running a project, purchasing equipment or delivering activities that benefit Westgate residents, you may be eligible to apply for funding.

Grants are normally awarded up to £500, with larger amounts considered in exceptional circumstances.

We're proud to support the groups, clubs and volunteers who help make Westgate a vibrant and welcoming community.

And here's some good news – the Small Grants Scheme is now open all year round, so you can apply whenever your project or funding need arises. If the annual budget is spent, the year will reset in May.

Activities include the FREE Big Bike Revival Bike Fix at Westgate Library on Wednesday 8th July, 10am to 12 noon.

🚲 Free bike fixes and cycling events are back!

Join us from Thursday 11 June to Sunday 20 September 2026 for free maintenance sessions and scenic coastal rides in partnership with local hubs and libraries.

From seashore safaris to e-bike trials, all events are free, thanks to funding from Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival. 🥳 👇

The next drop-in Councillor Surgery will take place this Saturday, 13th June (10.30am to 11.45am) at our offices opposite the Carlton Cinema.

This is your opportunity to meet a Westgate-on-Sea town councillor and share any feedback or get information about council services.

And a reminder that local Beat Officer PC England will be holding his drop-in surgery this Friday, 12th June at 11am.

⭐️ DROP-IN WITH PC ENGLAND ⭐️

The next Westgate-on-Sea Ward Surgery will be held this Friday, 12th June at 11am at our offices.

These are informal drop in sessions with no appointment necessary where residents can discuss any crime or anti social behaviour concerns they may have with PC Steven England, the ward officer for Westgate and Birchington.
