Our CLP joined York MP Rachel Maskell in Kippax yesterday, campaigning for Selby & Kippax Labour Party and its fabulous local councillor Mary Harland!

No matter the results today, Mary has always been a fantastic local representative. Shows the power of local people working for their communities 🤝🌹

The Labour Party are greener than the Greens - that’s an uncomfortable fact for Green candidates. They block new solar projects, object to energy infrastructure for wind energy and even object to cleaner air schemes 🤔

The Tories will repeal the Climate Change Act and disband the world-class & independent Climate Change Committee. Reform have joined Trump as climate-change deniers 🤯

Labour is now Britain’s climate party, not by accident but by choice, because we’re prepared to build - to electrify our economy and take oil and gas out of our veins as our lifeblood.

Really good for our Wetherby Easingwold Clp including Alex Riddell for Wetherby to join Wes Streeting, Keir Mather and the Selby & Kippax Labour Party team in neighbouring Kippax today campaigning for councillor and local legend Mary Harland. It was brilliant to hear what Mary does for her community (in stark contrast to the division Reform are peddling locally). Glorious day for it too ☀️

Wes Streeting reiterated the threat Reform pose locally & nationally - of undoing all the good work Labour are doing in government to fix the NHS by confirming Reform would move to an insurance-based NHS system. Undoing the Renters Rights reforms which come into force today. And pushing fracking instead of all the amazing renewables progress Labour are making.

There’s a clear choice, Labour or Reform - and Mary Harland is the only candidate on the side of all local residents in Kippax 🌹

Our constituency got to borrow Ben as a labour candidate in 2024 and he was outstanding.  Hard-working, approachable, passionate knowledgeable and an all-round good guy.

 His community in Bingley East  will be lucky to have him as a councillor. Vote for Ben on the 7th of May 🗳️

Ben Pickles for Bingley East will be an outstanding Councillor for Bingley East - he’s a genuine, hard-working family man who wants the best for his community.

Anyone who votes for Reform is choosing talking down Bradford & open racism over a local & passionate guy with skin in the game who will work his socks off to improve his community.
