Miggins Fiddle, a local duo and poet will be at the library on the 13th February for a great evening. Come along and learn about the social history of a part a special part of the North East

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The library has once again put up a tree for the Spoors Christmas Tree Festival. This takes place from 10am till 4pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week - 4th till 6th December. It all looks very festive.

Don't forget we are holding our Christmas Fair and Craft morning at the library this Saturday, the 29th. See you here between 10:00 and 12:30pm. It promises to be fun.

The festive season is almost upon us but the Name the Teddy and the Christmas Raffle are definitely at the library now. If you get a chance, pop in and buy a name or tickets for only £1.

Don't forget, our Christmas Fair and Children's crafts is taking place next Saturday, 29th starting at 10am. We hope to see you there.

There has been a notification that our Race Night has been cancelled on the Golf club site. This is not the case, we are here ready for the off. See you shortly

A busy couple of days for your library. We are under starters orders this Friday night at 7:00pm for another must come along Race Night at the Whickham Golf Club. On Saturday we are hauntingly holding a Halloween craft event at the library starting at 10:00am. Come along, bring a friend to each or either. We love to see you

And we're off. The ever popular Race Night is back. The jockeys have been weighed and are raring to go. It will be at the Golf Club on Friday 24th October at 7:00pm. See you there.
