Here's to our volunteers!!
This week has been national volunteers week, where we celebrated our wonderful volunteers. They offer support, kindness and care to not only our wonderful club members at the Kingfisher Day Centre but to our team too, we would be truly lost without them.

In April we all had a wonderful month at the Centre 🌷
There were lots of Birthdays to celebrate, including a special 90th Birthday! 🎂
We had visits from Turning Back Time which included lots of dancing and singing and from a local nursery who helped us make some delicious chocolate cakes 🧁

We are looking for specific donations if you have any of these items it will be greatly appreciated....set of knives, forks and spoons and Distinctive patterned socks.
We are also looking for dolls (preferably with clothes) paint brushes

A HUGE thank you to everyone that came to support our fundraising event on Friday the 8th. We raised an amazing total of £1056 from ticket and raffle sales.
Thank you also goes to Jake Ward - Entertainer who provided a great evening of fun and laughter and of course amazing singing and The wyke down country pub for providing the lovely venue as well as a donation to our raffle. We also we would like to say a big thank you to our contributors to our raffle donations.

March was a busy month for us here at the centre. We hosted our quarterly Coffee Afternoon which was attended by so many friends, family and familiar faces which was lovely to see and everyone enjoyed the delicious cakes that our Cook prepared 🧁🍰 We made flower arrangements, celebrated lots of Birthdays and looked forward to the Easter Break with some Easter inspired games and activities and not to forget the delicious Roast Lamb dinners! 😋
