Green by the Bay is four!
I want to say thank you.

Thank you to every family who has borrowed a sling, hired a nappy kit, booked an appointment, attended a sling social, recommended me to a friend, shared a post, left a positive review, donated items, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines.

One of the best parts of running Green by the Bay has been meeting so many wonderful families. Thank you for trusting me to support you through your babywearing and cloth nappy journeys. I’ve learned just as much from you as I hope you’ve learned from me.

Four years ago I had an idea and a lot of enthusiasm, but I could never have imagined where that little idea would lead. Thanks to your support, Green by the Bay has grown into something truly special.

There have been busy days, challenging days, exciting opportunities and plenty of moments where I’ve wondered what on earth I was doing. But through it all, you’ve continued to support this little business and helped it grow.

Green by the Bay has always been about community, and it wouldn’t exist without all of you.

Thank you for being part of the journey so far. Here’s to the next chapter.

Two sling socials this week, plus some one-to-one appointments still available if you’d like a bit of extra help.

I’ll have a range of slings and carriers with me, from newborn to preschool. If you’d like me to bring something specific, stretchy wraps, twin options, toddler carriers or anything else, just send me a message.

Sling socials are relaxed drop-in sessions where you can get out of the house, meet other parents, and chat about slings and babywearing. Try different carriers, ask questions, get fit check support, or just come for a chat. No booking needed, just sign in when you arrive.

✉️ Can’t make it to a social?

I have a few one-to-one appointments available on Wednesday or Friday, plus home visits within around an hour of NE26 if you’d prefer me to come to you.

Planning a holiday or looking for a cooler option for warmer weather? I have lightweight, mesh, and compact carriers available to try.

May has been full of colour, community and carrying memories.

Today’s carnival felt like the perfect way to end the month, sunshine, music, dancing through the streets dressed as elves from The Elf and the Shoemaker, complete with a giant cowboy boot.

This month has also quietly brought some lovely milestones for Green by the Bay, over 100 items out on hire and more than 700 people following me. Thank you for every booking, recommendation, share, message and conversation.

I’m pressing pause for a week now to soak up half term with my own children before jumping back into June appointments.

Whitley Bay Carnival & Northumberland County Show are the perfect excuse to carry your baby or toddler this weekend!

My trusty trolley is all packed and ready for tomorrow’s sling social at Whitley Bay Big Local!

It’s a relaxed drop-in session, whether you’re new to babywearing, expecting, or already using a sling and would like a bit of extra support.

I’ll have a mix of slings and carriers with me, from newborn to preschool. Feel free to message me with any requests, I’ve packed already but I can always squeeze in a couple more carriers 🙂

No need to book, just add your name to my list when you arrive so I know you’re waiting.

With Whitley Bay Carnival and the Northumberland County Show both happening this weekend, it’s a great time to try a carrier. Avoid battling the crowds with a pushchair, keep little ones close, and give them a great view of everything going on.
