🚫ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚫

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate sewer relining.
A road closure is required on Castle Street between Bonchurch Road and Skinners Lane on the 17th June 2026 for one day between 09:00 and 14:30.

📢 LITTER PICKING VOLUNTEERS 📢

We are still looking for volunteers to join us on Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd June, to help clean up the paths, hedgerows and grass verges.
Litter picking equipment will be provided, as well as refreshments after the clean up.
If you are able to join in alongside us on either of the dates, please contact the office to provide your name and availability.

Whitwick Quarry will be blasting today - 22nd May 2026 at 11.00am.

Anti-social behaviour and vandalism to property will not be tolerated.

Graffiti and damage to public or private property cost taxpayers money to clean and repair — money that could be better spent improving our community.

These incidents will be reported to the relevant authorities. If anyone has information or knows who is responsible for the recent graffiti, please come forward and report it privately.
