We are no longer taking donations, huge to thanks to everyone who has already donated uniforms - it really is much appreciated!

A house key has been found at the entrance to Festival Park bowling green and has been handed in to the Town Council office. Please phone 01706 852018 to collect if its yours. Will need to identify the keyring to ascertain ownership.

📣📣In just 2 weeks time, our annual Rushcart event will take place, starting at the top of North St at 1pm 📣📣
🚧We still need a few more marshals to ensure the parade runs smoothly - thanks to everyone who's already volunteered🙂

🎶 A Huge Thank You 🎶

As we look back on what was an incredible Saturday, we want to take a moment to recognise the people who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the day such a success.

A very special thank you goes to Martin Duffy, who took on the huge task of organising the stage, coordinating all of the bands, and making sure the sound was running smoothly throughout the day. There was an enormous amount of planning, communication, and hard work involved long before the first act stepped onto the stage, and Martin gave up so much of his own time to make it all happen. His dedication, commitment, and passion helped create an unforgettable day of live entertainment, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did.

A huge thank you as well to all of the amazing bands and performers who shared their talent with us. Your fantastic performances created such a brilliant atmosphere, kept the crowd entertained, and made the event one to remember. We really appreciate you giving up your time to be part of our community event.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Aimee from The Ashcroft and the Tourism and Leisure Committee for volunteering there time and helping throughout the event. Your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved were greatly appreciated and made a real difference on the day.

Events like this don't happen by chance they happen because of dedicated people who are willing to give their time, energy, and expertise for the benefit of the community.

To Martin, Aimee, all of our talented performers, and everyone who helped behind the scenes, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped make Saturday an unforgettable day, and we couldn't have done it without you. ❤️🎤🎸🎶

Free to attend, aimed at small to medium sized business, this in-person immersive Cyber Attack Simulation is a real eye opener and very thought provoking. It's funded by University of Lancashire and Lancashire's Police and Crime Commissioner and lasts about 4 hours (including a free lunch). It takes place in Preston but is well worth the drive for all the information provided.
