Moorfield Primary School is a one and a half form entry intake (45 pupils per year group) for pupils aged 4 to 11; the current number on roll is 255. Reception are taught in a single unit following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Key stages one and two follow the National Curriculum which is presented as a skills based curriculum alongside the Primary Frameworks for English and maths.

The views of pupils, parents and other members of the school community are sought in preparing a curriculum and wider opportunity fit for the 21st century. As a school we are constantly reviewing and refining our provision to ensure it meets the needs of our children and families. We are the proud holders of the Healthy Schools Award, the Primary Quality Mark (basic skills award), BECTA ICT Mark, Sport England Active Mark, and Artsmark Gold.

Ice cream for sale tomorrow for £1, free from ice cream also available for allergies

We have ice creams available for sale tomorrow in school children who would like an ice cream please bring £1 in tomorrow morning. We also have free from ice cream cornets available too also £1 😊

Wow what an afternoon!!

I forgot to get any pictures as ice creams were flying out!

Thank you so much everyone for an amazing afternoon!! We will update you on how much we raised once the year 6 have counted it.

Just a big well done too to the year 6, I spent some time speaking to some of them about their ideas and Mark ups and they were so inspiring. So well done everybody ###

Hello everyone long shot but does anyone have any unwanted newspapers I could use plz I need to warp some things up for the summer fair next week. I’ll be at dykin gate if you do.

Hello everyone.

On Friday it’s our wear Red White and Blue day for a bottle donation which will go towards our summer fair, all bottles will be collected at the gates.

Small change to the first week back, on Friday the 10th June we will be changing our colour donations to some chocolates, sweets or biscuits donation.

Summer fair Friday 17th June 4pm start.
