This is being held at the Brickfield Community Stadium at 10am to 1pm. It is free to attend and there is parking on site.

We are really looking forward to attending, meeting people and talking about how you can start your fostering journey.

There is a real shortage of foster carers currently and you can make a difference to a child or young person's future. We provide the training to become a foster carer, support and a weekly foster carer payment. This is alongside support groups, access to therapeutic support and out of hours contact.

Thank you to the Fostering Network for their campaign "Foster Care Fortnight" over the last two weeks, to raise the awareness of fostering and the difference that people can make through becoming a foster carer.

Our team members, Carolyn, Arham and Shariq have been all been supporting this week and are proud to be supporting our foster carers and children.

Well done to everyone working in the fostering sector in supporting Foster Care Fortnight overall and the wider hard work through fostering.

Big shout out to Sunbeam Fostering too for their activities over Foster Care Fortnight.

Thank you to Ince Community Centre in Wigan for hosting our Fostering Information session this week on Wednesday. It was great to support Foster Care Fortnight and help raise awareness of fostering locally in Wigan and Leigh.

We also had the chance to visit the Cosy Cafe at the centre for great refreshments! Big tanks to Kathy and it was good to meet other people attending the craft activities at the centre.

It is currently Foster Care Fortnight! Please join us to find out more about fostering and becoming a foster carer.

We have a free information session in Wigan on Wednesday this week (20 May) at 12pm. This is at Ince Community Centre and it will be an informal discussion about what is involved.

We are also keen to raise awareness of fostering overall and celebrate the hard work by all foster carers and professionals in the sector.
