Fresh new look for KJ Fire Safety at Wigan Golf Club ! ⛳🔥

We’re delighted to unveil our brand new sponsor sign at the 18th tee at Wigan Golf Club. After the summer heat took its toll on our previous darker sign, we took the opportunity to go back to the drawing board. The result is a lighter, brighter, fully rebranded design that’s built to stand up to the elements, and we couldn’t be happier with how it looks.

We popped down to the tee yesterday to see it in person, and it looks fantastic. We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of Wigan Golf Club. It’s a fantastic club with a great community, and we’re looking forward to supporting it for the seasons ahead.

Have a look out for the 18th tee next time you're there! 👏
Thank you to everyone who helped bring the new sign to life.

Most businesses think their fire alarm system is fine… until it fails when it matters most.

Here’s the truth:
A fire alarm system that hasn’t been properly serviced could leave you exposed to:
❌ Failed inspections
❌ Insurance complications
❌ Heavy fines
❌ Business disruption
❌ Risk to life

Under BS 5839, commercial fire alarm systems should be professionally serviced at least every 6 months, alongside weekly fire alarm testing.

At KJ Fire Safety Ltd, we help businesses stay protected, compliant, and inspection-ready with:
✔️ Fully certified engineers
✔️ Detailed servicing & reporting
✔️ Ongoing compliance support
✔️ Cost-effective maintenance plans
✔️ Honest advice tailored to your building

But fire safety isn’t just a box-ticking exercise. It’s about protecting your people, your premises, and your business continuity.
If you can’t remember the last time your fire alarm system was serviced, now’s the time to act.

One thing we’ve learned in 12 years of KJ Fire Safety?
The businesses that take fire safety seriously are the ones that plan ahead. 🚨

Not when an inspection is due. Not after something goes wrong.
And definitely not when they suddenly realise their fire alarm hasn't been maintained properly.

Good fire safety is about having the right systems in place, keeping them maintained and making sure your team knows what to do.
From fire risk assessments and fire alarms to extinguishers, emergency lighting and workplace training, KJ Fire Safety is here to help businesses stay safe, compliant and prepared.

12 years in, and that's still what matters most to us. 👏

Big milestone for our youngest apprentice at KJ Fire - Luke has just turned 18! 🎉

As we’ve done with previous apprentices, we wanted to mark the occasion by gifting him his own set of drills and an impact driver to help him continue building his skills and career in the trade.

Hard work, commitment, and a great attitude never go unnoticed. Keep smashing it, Luke 👏🔧

Big dreams and local roots!🔥
All of us at KJ Fire Safety are passionate about supporting young people in our community, and this one is something special.
Jake has been selected to represent England at the Muaythai Boxing World Festival in Bangkok this June. An amazing achievement, and just the beginning of what could be a life-changing experience.

Like many young athletes, Jake faced the challenge of funding flights, accommodation, and kit. That’s where we wanted to support - because backing determination and ambition is what community is all about.

He’s now deep into training, even getting put through his paces by local 4-time world champion Jason Hill. With just a few weeks to go… it’s getting very real!

We'll be sharing updates as Jake’s journey unfolds. Let’s get behind him 👊
