🛤️ Enjoy A Day of Tracks & Trains 🚂

Come and join us on Saturday 12th September for Railway Day! We promise you'll have a brilliant day exploring a variety of trains and train tracks on display. Train fans young and old will love it!

We also have the popular ride on train from Wimborne DSME, the wonderful Sally Singer and Musician will be singing vintage tunes, there's storytelling, the Railway Room and 1950's Quiz.

And if you're feeling hungry after all the fun, enjoy a delicious selection of food available from James' Tearooms at Wimborne Model Town.

We can't wait to see you all & remember all tickets are valid for 12 months 🚂🤩🚞

The Beryl Dade Dolls' Houses 🏘️

Beryl collected and refurbished dolls' houses for very many years providing each with illumination, new decoration, fixtures and fittings and characters. She developed a theme and a storyline for each miniature dwelling from teddy bears, to tea shops, restaurants and shops.

Thanks to her generosity the little homes can now be enjoyed by the thousands of visitors to Wimborne Model Town. You can find the wonderful dolls' houses in our Lady Hanham Building 😍

😋 Delicious Cool Down Treats🍦

It looks like it'll be warming up again this weekend and James' Tearooms at Wimborne Model Town has got just what you need to cool down while enjoying the shade of the model town gardens this weekend.

Choose from a delicious milkshake, your favourite Purbeck Ice cream, a yummy selection of lollies or even a fruity smoothie. Just what you need to keep cool and refreshed☀️

The model town tearoom is open from 9am daily until 4pm and has its own separate entrance 😊

📣 A big, warm welcome to Jenny, our New Manager here at the Model Town🤩

Our lovely manager, Marilyn, is retiring and due a very well earned rest. Jenny will now pick up the mantel and take the Model Town forward in the next, exciting chapter for Wimborne's Little Treasure 🏡

📣 From 10th - 16th August it’s Harvest Scarecrow Week Here at the Model Town 🌾

We’ve got a packed week of harvest themed activities including scarecrow trail, lucky dip, face painting (Saturday 15th August) and more!

Get creative with 'draw a scarecrow on a plate', listen to exciting storytelling and don't forget to dress up as your best scarecrow.
