🏡 PLEASE READ 🏡

Due to the exceptionally hot weather tomorrow, Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June, we have taken the decision to close earlier at 2pm on both days.

This is to help keep our visitors, volunteers and staff safe and as cool as possible during the hottest part of the day.

👀 Could you be Wimborne’s next Junior Mayor or Junior Town Crier? 🎩

In association with Wimborne Minster Town Council we're holding the first Junior Mayor and Junior Town Crier Competition here at Wimborne Model Town on Saturday 4th July at 2.00pm.

The Junior Town Crier competition is open to children aged 6–14, who will be invited to deliver a pre-written town cry with plenty of confidence, character and volume.

For the Junior Mayor competition, young people aged 9–18 will be asked to write and deliver a short speech on:
“My ideas to make Wimborne Minster a better place”. ✨

It’s a lovely opportunity for young people to have a go, build confidence and be part of Wimborne Minster’s civic traditions.

Families and supporters are very welcome to come along and cheer them on: Saturday 4th July at 2.00pm here at Wimborne Model Town.

Test your skills on our Crazy Golf course in the Bumble Bee Garden. It's great fun for children and adults alike.

Become a Champion and after you have totted up your scores on the official scorecard provided, you can enjoy our kitchen garden and its vibrant and colourful borders.

Happy Visitors 🤩

‘Absolutely loved it!! It was so much fun and definitely brought the childish side out in me and my husband! Plus we did a free quiz whilst walking round and got 14/16 correct so received two silver stars and two stickers!! 😁

Staff are friendly and welcoming. And the tickets are valid for a year so it’s definitely worth going back again and again.’

Free Entry for The Wimborne Folk Festival 🎶

Join us for music and merriment over the Festival Weekend on 13th & 14th of June, when entry will be FREE to the model town.

There will be a fabulous line up of acts on Saturday & Sunday at the model town - visit https://www.wmff.co.uk for full details. You can also explore the model town and gardens, enjoy the quiz and sit back and enjoy the day.

We’ll also be serving a delicious choice of breakfast, lunch, cakes and refreshments in our tearoom.

It's going to be another brilliant weekend filled with music, dancing and a lot of fun. We’ll see you there 🤩🎶

A Beary Fun Weekend 🧸😍🏡

It might have been a hot one but the Bear Weekend here at the model town was a great success.

It was so lovely seeing everyone having fun, joining in and making the weekend so special. From tiny teddies to much-loved bears, it was wonderful to see so many special friends enjoying their day out around the Model Town.

Thank you for spending your weekend with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did 🧸
