Hampshire Trading Standards Service is warning the public to be wary of possible Rogue Traders in the Moody Road area of Fareham and surrounding areas. Flyers are being delivered by a company offering to undertake roofing work. Deposits are being paid and then no work is being done.

The concern is that consumers will pay large sums of money for no work in return and then not be able to contact the company to seek redress.

Since the start of the year, many toys and craft items have been recalled as they may contain trace levels of asbestos. Recalls so far have included sand-filled stretchy toys, craft boxes and sand art kits. And there may be more to come.
