Resilience, discipline and a great cause.

Capt Rothwell has decided to go after a solo Channel attempt to keep pushing her boundaries, and there was no more deserving cause than Naomi and Jack’s to raise money for.

Endless hours swimming laps and cold acclimatisation are finally giving way to open water season, and there are just 5 short weeks left until Alex sets off from Dover for France.

Naomi and Jack’s is a local independent charity that provides expert care for seriously ill babies, children and young adults in two specialist centres near Wi******er.

ATR Wi******er entered a team into the Doko Race 2025 held at ATC Pirbright. The race consisted of a gruelling 5 km course over undulating and rough terrain, with competitors carrying the traditional Doko basket weighing 15 kg. The event formed part of Tihar – the Festival of Lights, an annual celebration observed by our Gurkha soldiers.

A fantastic effort by all involved, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and respect for Gurkha tradition.
