Welcome to part 2 of 4, this time we will cover weeks 3-9 of the Recruits physical development pathway. The first activity during this time will be their first loaded March, the Recruits will carry 5kg in their webbing and also a 5kg replica rifle, closely followed by everyoneβs favourite the obstacle course. Later on they will have some more time in the swimming pool, followed by more neuromuscular circuits. After their first exercise the recruits will then complete loaded march 2, they will carry 10kg plus their rifle. During this time the recruits will also have an introduction to tactical PT, this involves learning how to strike a punch bag, different methods of singular person casualty evacuation and the firm favourite logs and stretchers. Coming towards the end of this period they will have another lesson on the obstacle course and their second outdoor run.
